91.4percent of tinplate packaging from private consumption recycled
In Germany, 91.4percent of tinplate from private consumption was recycled in 2020. Therecycling rate for total tinplate consumption has also been stable at around 90percent since 2006. These findings were published by the Gesellschaft fürVerpackungsmarktforschung (gvm) in its recently published annual recyclingreport for packaging.
